Movie: One Day (2011)
A movie that
grows on you and has a language of its own.
It tells you that love is an experience,
and real relationships have difficulties.
But nothing that a little talk can’t solve.
“If I can’t talk to you, then what is the point of you? Of us?”
And while we learn to deal with failures and unhappiness
by making jokes out of it,
we all know that those failures and unhappy memories stay.
Unless we decide to do something about it;
turn our life around and have the courage to do it all over again.
“Nothing truly good was ever easy.”
And quite honestly,
“Everyone’s a little lost at 25.”
But amidst all the chaos,
if you find someone, someone who makes you happy,
oh so happy. Hang on!
Even if that takes you 18 years to realise,
“You can live your whole life, not realising that what you’re looking for is right in front of you.”
But when you finally have them,
and maybe, just maybe,
it could be for a few moments only.
Please don’t be heartbroken.
Because as Emma would like to put it,
“Whatever happens tomorrow, we’ve had today.”
